Introduction

DVD 4 Hope is a site dedicated to promoting positive messages and to fostering dialogue on real issues. The site will provide tools for community organisers and political activists so that they can create their own DVD to be used in outreach work.

DVD 4 Hope is NOT affiliated with the Obama campaign, but strongly support its positive message of hope and self-empowerment.

The site is organized in a way to increase signal and minimize noise. Thus people can use the site with greater efficiency.
You will find:

• This page which is the starting point for a wiki documenting every aspects of being an effective community organizer and activist.
• A feature tracker, a convenient way to keep track of what has been achieve and what remains to be done.
• A community blog: each user has their own blog. The blog is the most convivial place in the site where people can describe their successes in outreach, activism, etc.

• Feature tracker: use the tracker to see what needs to be done, to add tasks in the list, and to see who does what.
  Everybody is invited to browse through the list and pick up items which is suited for your personal abilities and situation.
